How we help

Scholarship Guidance

Identifying the funding you are genuinely eligible for — institutional, government and external — and getting those applications in on time.

  • Only the awards you are genuinely eligible for — no fishing
  • Deadlines mapped early, because most close before the course does
  • Essays and recommendation letters prepared with you
  • What the award does and does not cover, in writing, before you count on it

Overview

Most students underestimate how much funding exists and overestimate how easily it is claimed. Awards come from institutions themselves, from government programmes and from external trusts and foundations, and each has its own eligibility rules, its own deadline and its own idea of a strong candidate.

We help you identify what you can realistically apply for based on your grades, your course, your destination and your circumstances — and we are honest about where you would not be competitive, so you spend your effort where it can actually return something. Merit awards, need-based support, early-payment and regional discounts, and assistantships all work differently and are not interchangeable.

Where an award needs its own application — an essay, a separate reference, a form with an earlier deadline than the course itself — we build it into your timeline and help you prepare it. We also go through what the award actually covers, because a partial tuition waiver and a full scholarship are very different things once you build a budget around them.

How it works

Funding is found by matching your profile to the right schemes early, then meeting deadlines that almost always fall before the course deadline.

Funding profile review

Grades, course, destination and circumstances are reviewed together to see what you can realistically apply for.

Scholarship search

Institutional, government and external awards open to your profile are identified and listed.

Eligibility check

Each award is checked line by line against its own criteria before you spend time on the application.

Application preparation

Essays, references and forms prepared to the awarding body's requirements rather than reused from elsewhere.

Deadline planning

Scholarship deadlines often fall before course deadlines, so they are planned into your schedule from the start.

What you get

  • Awards matched to real eligibility

You apply where the criteria actually fit, instead of sending the same essay to twenty funds.

  • Institutional and external sources

University awards, government programmes and external trusts are all considered, not just the obvious ones.

  • An honest view of your chances

Where competition makes an award unrealistic, we say so rather than let you build a budget on it.

  • Award terms explained in full

What is covered, for how long, what conditions attach and what happens if results slip.

  • Deadlines built into your plan

Funding dates sit alongside admission dates in one timeline, so neither is missed because of the other.

Documents you will need

Requirements vary by institution and by country. This is the list we work from — we will tell you if yours needs more.
  • Academic transcripts — Most merit awards are decided primarily on the academic record.
  • Scholarship essay or motivation statement — Written to the award's own question, not reused from your course application.
  • Letters of recommendation — Often required to be separate from the references used for admission.
  • Evidence of financial circumstances — For need-based awards only, in the format the awarding body specifies.
  • Offer or admission letter — Many awards can only be claimed once you hold an offer from the institution.

What this leaves you with

A funding plan built on schemes you are genuinely eligible for, applied for in the right order and in time.

  • A shortlist of awards checked against your nationality, subject and level — not a list of everything that exists.
  • The deadlines that matter, mapped against your application timeline, since most funding closes before admission does.
  • Applications prepared to what each awarding body actually assesses, which is rarely only academic record.
  • An honest view of what is realistic, including where the answer is that a scheme is not worth your time.

No consultancy can award a scholarship or influence a panel. What guidance changes is how many suitable schemes you apply to, how well those applications are made, and whether you find them while they are still open — and that is usually the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a full scholarship?

Full scholarships exist, but they are a small minority of awards and competition for them is severe.

Partial tuition awards, fee discounts, departmental support and assistantships are far more common and are well worth applying for. We will tell you honestly which category your profile fits, so your budget is built on something realistic.

Do I have to pay to apply for a scholarship?

Legitimate scholarships do not require a payment to secure them. If an award asks for an upfront fee to release it, treat that as a warning sign, not an opportunity.

Any fees for our own services are set out in writing before you commit, separately from anything payable to an institution.

When should I apply for scholarships?

Usually alongside your course application, and sometimes before it. Many awards close earlier than the admission deadline, and some are only open to applicants who apply in the first round of an intake.

This is one of the main practical reasons to start the whole process early rather than close to the deadline.

Can I hold more than one scholarship at the same time?

Sometimes. Some awards explicitly prohibit holding another; others can be combined with a departmental discount or an early-payment reduction.

The terms of each award state this, and we go through them with you before you accept anything, because accepting one can quietly disqualify you from another.
