How we help

University Admission

Shortlisting universities and courses that match your academic profile, your budget and where you actually want to end up — not just the rankings.

  • A shortlist built around your marks, your budget and where you want to end up
  • Course and intake chosen before the deadline decides for you
  • Entry requirements checked against your own transcripts, not a brochure
  • An honest reach / match / safe split, so one refusal is never the end

Overview

University admission starts long before an application form. It starts with an honest look at your academic record, your budget, the destinations you can realistically apply to, and what you want to be doing five years after you graduate. Only after that does a shortlist mean anything.

We work through the options with you — countries, institutions, course levels and intakes — and explain why each one is on the list, what its entry requirements actually are, and where you would be a strong applicant rather than a hopeful one. Where a profile does not fit a chosen course, we say so and show you the alternatives, including pathway, foundation and college routes that lead to the same place by a different road.

Once the shortlist is agreed we plan the sequence: which intake to target, which English test to take and by when, what each institution wants and in what form, and what a sensible backup looks like. The aim is a set of applications where every single one makes sense on its own.

How it works

Five stages, in this order, because each one depends on the answers from the one before. Nothing is submitted until the shortlist makes sense to you as well as to us.

Profile assessment

We go through your academic record, test scores, budget and career goal before suggesting a single university.

Country and course shortlist

The field is narrowed to destinations and courses that genuinely fit your profile, timeline and budget.

University shortlist and entry check

For each institution we confirm the entry requirements, the intake dates and where your profile stands against them.

Intake and timeline plan

We work backwards from your target intake so tests, documents and deadlines fall in a workable order.

Offer review and final choice

When offers arrive we go through the conditions, costs and deadlines with you so the decision is an informed one.

What you get

  • Choices explained, not prescribed

You are told why each option is on your list and what its trade-offs are, so the decision stays yours.

  • A realistic shortlist

Ambitious, well-matched and safe options together, so you are never left holding nothing.

  • Requirements checked against your profile

Entry criteria confirmed course by course before you invest time in an application.

  • Courses judged on where they lead

Programmes assessed on structure, content and outcomes rather than on the institution name alone.

  • One point of contact

The same counsellor stays with your case, so you never have to explain your situation twice.

Documents you will need

Requirements vary by institution and by country. This is the list we work from — we will tell you if yours needs more.
  • Academic transcripts and certificates — Marksheets and certificates for every completed level of study.
  • Passport — A current passport, or the renewal receipt if one is in progress.
  • English test result — IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, CELPIP or Duolingo, where the institution requires one.
  • Updated CV — Required by most postgraduate and professional programmes.
  • Work experience letters — Where the course counts professional experience towards entry.

What this leaves you with

A set of applications where every one of them is defensible — a course you can get into, at an institution you have a reason for choosing, in a country whose costs and work rights you understand, timed to an intake you can realistically meet.

  • A shortlist you could explain to anyone, with the reasoning for each entry.
  • Entry requirements confirmed against your own record rather than assumed.
  • A timeline that works backwards from your intake, so tests and documents are ready before they are needed rather than chased afterwards.
  • A realistic backup, chosen deliberately rather than fallen back on.

What this does not include is a guarantee of admission. Offers are made by universities against criteria they set and revise, and any consultancy promising otherwise is describing something it does not control. What we can do is make sure nothing in your application is weaker than it needed to be.

Frequently asked questions

When should I start the admission process?

As early as you can. Most institutions open applications several months before an intake, competitive courses fill before the published deadline, and starting early leaves room to retake an English test if you need to.

If you are already close to an intake, tell us anyway. We will look at what is genuinely still open rather than assume the window has closed.

Can you guarantee admission to a particular university?

No, and you should treat any promise of guaranteed admission with suspicion. Admission decisions belong to the institution alone and no consultancy can make them.

What we can do is make sure your application is complete, accurate and well presented, and that it goes to places where your profile is genuinely competitive.

Do I need an English test result before I apply?

Not always. Many institutions will assess an application and issue a conditional offer while your test is pending, then confirm the offer once the score is submitted. Others require the result up front.

We check the rule for every institution on your shortlist so your test date and your application dates line up.

What if my academic record has gaps or backlogs?

It is not an automatic barrier. Institutions look at the whole profile, and many accept study gaps and backlogs when they are explained honestly and supported with evidence.

We will tell you where it will make a difference and where it will not, so you apply with a clear picture instead of a hopeful one.
